What a Gem! Far better than I expected from the street view... the food here is well worth the stop. The ambiance is well worth the stop. and if that isn't enough, the service here is well worth the stop! Barzini's is AWESOME! We had the Steak Cheese Tortellini Alfredo and The House Spaghetti and both were pretty out of this world. The steak was tender and seasoned perfectly, the alfredo sauce was rich and plentiful. Angel Hair pasta for spaghetti is perfect and really makes it easy to eat it all. The 'all you can eat' breadsticks are buttery and just garlicky enough to not overpower everything else you've got going on (and great dipped in a side of red meat sauce)! We were offered a small sample of the soup and, while I didn't have room for a full bowl, I will likely get that as my meal on the next trip... it was really killer. I also want to try the meatloaf, after hearing the owner talk about it, it's gotta be killer! the place is small, the menu is small, but the food and service are HUGE! A small menu just means they have time to perfect everything and don't have the need to store/freeze a bunch of food - a really great thing, in my opinion.

It's a small place, maybe ten tables? Not a typical American style Italian restaurant. On Main Street, tucked into a larger building, with an adjacent parking lot (free). Don't blink, you might miss it. It reminded us of something like you'd find in a small European town. Service was attentive and food arrived in a timely fashion. Our Friday reservations were for 5:30pm, and by 6:30 the place was full. I suggest reservations, especially on the weekend. The menu is small but has good variety. I had the Steak Alfredo Corleone with a small side salad, and my wife had Vitalli's Shrimp Scampi, and Tiramisu . Everything was very good and the portions were generous. Prices were reasonable. Although there is a piano player (you're going to love him) the sound level is low. You will not have a problem talking/hearing at the table. He played the entire time we were there.

We visited Minnesota from Wisconsin and booked our dinner reservation here, the booking process was easy and smooth. Being Italian myself and having had many fine dining experiences, I tend to be picky. The minute we arrived I loved the dim atmosphere, the decor and we were greeted immediately. The people here were all very friendly and the food was fantastic! We had the Alfredo with chicken, salad, one of us had the meatloaf and the breadsticks were incredible! Dishes were cleared promptly and they checked in on us at the right times. Small cozy place and by far the best part of our trip. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely meal at this New Restaurant’s Location in Anoka. Everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful. We visited/arrived on there Grand Opening Day. We were pleasantly greeted by the staff, our server was a real treat, I absolutely adore the atmosphere.

We went there to celebrate our anniversary. Reserved a booth for two. Tried their Wedding soup. It was delicious. The breadsticks were so fresh and light. The dipping sauce was bursting with flavor. I ordered Shrimp Scampi and my wife had the Choice Steak Cuts. Both meals were fabulous. We finished it off with desert. It was a great evening! We will be back again.

We had a wonderful dinner here. The atmosphere took you to a place that seemed to be very far from Anoka. The food came out in a very timely fashion and was phenomenal. If you want to eat at a local establishment that takes you out of the normal downtown anoka atmosphere, you should definitely try Barzinis. The waitresses were fabulous and the chef came out to see how everything was. He even offered us extra breadsticks and a sample of the soup. Hidden gem for sure.

Quite dim in the restaurant, but it sets the mood! (Can be considered "too dark" for the visually impared or elders.) There is music AND The Godfather playing the entire time we were dining. (Can be considered too gruesome for those who may end up losing their appetite.) We tried this place for the first time on a Friday night and they were PACKED. Would definitely recommend reservations! Food was hands down the best Italian I've had since moving to MN. It's hot, fresh, and authentic! We had Shrimp Alfredo, Steak Alfredo, and steak dinner (not pictured). You can can tell that there is plenty of thought and care with the dishes. Service could've used to tweaking since they forgot our utensils. It was (very) difficult to be patient over our freshly served food until we got someone's attention. Other than that, our group loved it here and would definitely be dining again. Highly recommend!!
